Jingling Bead Star Ornaments
Add some jingling handmade touches to your tree decor this year!
Materials:
Fuzzy Sticks
Jingle Bells
Friendship Thread
Scissors
Step 1:
Gather your materials. You can use any color scheme you would like!
Step 2:
Begin threading your beads onto your fuzzy stick.
Step 3:
Fill the fuzzy stick with beads until you have about ½” left on either end.
Step 4:
Twist the two ends together to secure.
Step 5:
Bend the fuzzy stick into a star shape.
Step 6:
Cut approximately 20 inches of friendship thread, then fold in half. Thread one jingle bell onto 1 string of the friendship thread as shown.
Step 7:
Then, thread one bead onto both friendship thread strands.
Step 8:
Position the friendship thread so the jingle bell and bead are in the center of the star, then wrap the thread around the fuzzy stick.
Step 9:
Then tie a knot to secure the thread to the top of the star.
Step 10:
Finally, tie a knot about 5 inches up from the tip of the star, then cut off any excess thread. Your ornament is now ready to be displayed!
